Sorry Roomate

Could you live in a student complex?

Are you a shower singer or a “I just woke up, do not dare to talk to me” morning person?

I am too. And I live in a student complex. You have no excuses hehehe almost anyone can live in a student complex, at least for a year.

If you must choose between a private studio or a student complex for your first year in uni, I personally find the “sharing” a better option.

Hey, sharing is caring mate. And that is what living in a student complex feels a bit like. Getting to know people, chatting with your flatmates, getting smiles in the elevator, gossiping with your roomates …

You run out of oil? Ask. You feel like ordering food with someone? Count on me. You want to study in the common area? Knock on my door first. You want to cry over how bad the weather is today? You are not the only one. Yet we must also experience together the:

– “who the fuck uses 1toilet paper roll a day dude?”

– “why does the kitchen smell like someone died a couple of days ago?”

– “did you get food stolen? I cant find my salmon nor my tomatoes 😭.

P.S. you might also get little sleep because of: (one of your roomates is having a great night with a stranger/lover) BUT you will have lots of gossip tomorrow, or (your roomate does not hear the alarm in the morning so it fucking runs for an hour straightforward).

Overall, I think that considering your roomates to be your friends gives you that “at home” feeling that you will 100% miss during your first year. Let yourself feel, let yourself get to know people, get yourself to experience, allow yourself to live and grow in the healthiest manner possible!!!!!
