How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you.

hello!!!! How are you doing??.

I know, I know… It’s been months since my last post. Yep, you guessed right. Life threw a few WTFs my way, and yep, I needed some time to regroup and recharge. I do have plan a future blog post all about the importance of taking a break and giving yourself the time you deserve. So stay tuned for that hehehe

SOOOOO Loving yourself is like this super important thing, and I have learnt this by hard. Back when I didn’t love myself enough, I kinda showed people the wrong way to love me. And let’s get one thing straight, I’m not here saying I’ve got it all figured out now – nah, I wish!

But, c’mon, we’re all just human. We’re wired to always want more, and that’s where we trip up. It’s like our Achilles’ heel, you know?
And this is something my grandma told me.
Like, I used to think she had it all together, that she loved every bit of herself. Same with my parents. But guess what? They don’t, and every day, they work on loving themselves a little more.

And for sure the people surrounding us are key. How you let them treat you shows how you feel about yourself. So, even if you find yourself stuck in some toxic situationship and you’re thinking, “It’s too late,” trust me, it’s not.
Life, it’s just ONE, and it might feel long or short depending on what you’re aiming for. If you dream of being a millionaire, you might think you’ve got all the time in the world, but if your exam’s tomorrow, time flies, right

So there you go, reflect on how you want to be loved and how you want to both, love yourself and love others. And work on it. Write it down in your phone notes if you need.

For this month I wrote down:

  • Learn to say no when necessary.
  • Forgive yourself for past mistakes.
  • Ask for help when needed.
  • Write down things that make you realise how lucky you are.
  • Take breaks from social media.

Muchoooooos besos,

Marta
